Chuck Huckleberry is in the way of Pima County job growth with his opposition to the Rosemont Copper Mine. This is a reprehensible act by a county manager who is not even an elected official. He does not represent the people of this county with this position. Rosemont is demonstrating the latest in technology for efficiencies in operations and with environmental technology matched by no other mining project in the world. Arizona is copper country and mining is our history. Mining is a primary industry which has a history of creating an additional 4 jobs in the community for every hire at the mine. Does Huckleberry really want to create jobs and a solid tax revenue? Support Rosemont Copper. He does this then most of what he is proposing in this article has some merit. He does this and I will be a volunteer on a small business commission to help him achieve what he says he wishes to create for Pima County. Step up to the plate Mr. Huckleberry.
